Awaken the strategist within you!
Strathena is an innovative platform for business strategy training, composed of:
- 10 self-assessment quizzes
- 40 video courses extracted from the “30 Lessons in Strategy” app and the BFM Strategy show (BFM Business)
- a strategy simulation game offered in several sessions simulating different economic environments and strategic situations.
The Strathena platform was designed and created by the company Interactive 4D, specialized in the design of serious games, and by Xavier Fontanet, former CEO of Essilor and former board member of L’Oréal and Schneider Electric, now a strategy professor, columnist for Les Echos, and host of the show BFM Strategy with Frédéric Simottel on BFM Business.
The platform is offered as a subscription. Some videos and one game session are accessible for free.

Strathena on all your screens!
On a computer (PC or Mac):
. You can enjoy the course, quizzes, and Strathena game through a recent Internet browser.
On a tablet or smartphone (Android or Apple):
. The course and quizzes are also accessible through an Internet browser
. but to access the game, you must download the Strathena app from Google Play or the App Store. The game is not accessible via the Internet browser on tablets or smartphones.
Note, although it is possible to install the Strathena app on an Android smartphone or iPhone, we recommend using a tablet or computer screen for better visibility.

Game Modes
The game exists in three formats:
1. On this site and with the Strathena mobile app, you can play in solo mode. In this mode, you will play autonomously against companies managed by artificial intelligence. This game mode is suitable for individual learning or as part of distance training but can also be used in a classroom setting.

Two other game modes are available on request:
2. In multiplayer mode, the game allows an instructor to conduct a strategy class by having players compete against each other. Each player manages the strategy of a company competing with those managed by other players. In this mode, it is particularly possible to train in external growth strategies:
- By auctioning your least profitable divisions,
- By buying divisions put up for sale by your competitors.

This multiplayer mode is suitable for training organizations, educational institutions, and companies. Different levels of difficulty make it adaptable to the learners’ level, from secondary education institutions to business schools and companies.

3. In simulation mode, the game allows automatic comparison of different strategies to assess their relevance. This mode is mainly intended for companies and strategy consulting firms.
Game Customization
Many economic sectors have been simulated with the Strathena game: aerospace, automotive, bakeries, retail, IT, social networks, catering, public works…
On request, it is possible to simulate a specific economic sector to allow a company to study the impact of its strategic decisions. Contact us for more information on pricing and setup details.
Customized Platforms
